This seminar will show technicians and instructors the information available at the DLC on a CAN vehicle. We will use a multi-meter, DSO and a computer-based scanner. This seminar will include a handout of typical patterns and their analysis. There is some basic material related to an introduction to CAN seminar. The class is a PowerPoint presentation that includes some case studies. It is presented in a classroom style and generally takes 1 – 2 hours. This seminar is also available as a hands-on style where participants wire up a typical CAN Bus circuit with 4 modules using our MP-1918 trainer. The hands-on seminar will take 3-4 hours and will have a limit of participants (typically <30) based on available trainers.

Please let everyone know the C-12 trainers are working great, they are a big hit with all the top brass when they stop by for a site visit. The students love that lab portion they all really seem to understand the Cat systems more at the end than when they rst get to class. You can see that light bulb go off in their head after the rst couple of bugs. Thanks!CM1(SCW) Ingram, Mickey, CM Advanced School Instructor, NCTC Gulfport, MS
