CL-232-01 Electrodynamometer - 60 Hz + Add to wishlist


The CL-232-01 Electrodynamometer is in fact a 2-pole DC machine that can be used to teach principles in operating direct current motor and generator. It can also be configured in series, compound and shunt motor/generator. For the field control circuit, the module incorporates a rheostat with breaker protection. More than a simple DC motor on a fixed base, the CL-232-01 can be coupled within seconds to any Consulab 1/3 HP rotating machines to establish the load in generator mode. It is equipped with a balance arm, a load cell system and an optical encoder. Torque, speed and calculated mechanical power can be displayed by means of a single selector. All the CL-232-01 electrical components are brought out to 4-mm separated terminals on the front panel. For ease of identification and use, the specifications and schematic diagrams are silk-screened on the reverse of the clear front panel.
