The ABS brake trainer is equipped with an original ABS system that works in conjunction with a conventional booster and a master cylinder, and includes a hydraulic modulator assembly, an electronic control module, and speed sensors at all wheels. Four hydraulic pressure gauges demonstrate pressure build-up and release at each wheel. A deceleration simulator is used to generate a frequency to the computer that causes the ABS system to engage when the brake pedal is depressed. A breakout box and a lockable fault simulator are included in this trainer, as is a DLC input that allows for a scanner data link.
