The CL-U101 Unitec DC Machine is specially designed to teach and aid with experiments on DC motors and generators. It may be operated as a stand-alone motor, coupled with any other Unitec machine, or be driven as a DC generator. The CL-U101 can also be used as a prime mover to run other 3HP consoles or as mechanical load on various Consulab trainers. For this purpose, the DC machine is connected as a generator and electrically loaded by means of the Unitec resistive load bank.
