The CL-ED1001 system was developed by Elite Technologies Inc. to enable students to learn and practice basic principles of instrumentation, regulation, control and automation of continuous process. Students become familiar with real processes by connecting different components of the system, initiating different calibrations and setting up tuning parameters. Strategies can be modified and the system also permits cascade control, feed-forward control and other control strategies.

The open-modular concept allows the student to connect the system to other equipment such as programmable logic controller, process controls, PID controllers and distribute control systems (DCS). The unit is mounted, inspected and delivered ready to use. Different educational aspects were taken into consideration during conception, thus ensuring that the final assembly is easy to move, sturdy, attractive, safe, flexible, and versatile. A laboratory manual containing a series of proven experiments is furnished with each system.
